As winter, Advent and Christmas approach, some things will change and some will stay the same at MBPPC. Pastor Andrea Chaumont has been serving since October 1st. The Christmas trees and wreaths are decorated. The choir is preparing Advent and Christmas musical offerings. And Operation Nightwatch and Operation Sandwich will carry on as always. Look for new opportunities for Bible study and other educational events this December and into the New Year.

The Session (board) of MBPPC has called the Rev. Andrea Chaumont to serve as transitional pastor beginning October 1st, 2025. Pastor Chaumont brings a wealth of experience in ministry, most recently serving as transitional pastor at Southminster Presbyterian Church in Burien, Washington. Prior to that, she served as transitional pastor at Seattle Community Church. Pastor Chaumont earned her master of divinity degree at Princeton Theological Seminary. She is married to Jean Chaumont, and they have two young children.
