UPCOMING EVENTS

pentecost and appreciation sunday, june 8, 2025

Two long-standing MBPPC traditions will come together on beginning at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, June 8, as we celebrate the Day of Pentecost and Appreciation Sunday. Pentecost is the celebration of the gift of the Holy Spirit, given to the Church by Jesus after his resurrection and ascension to heaven. It is appropriate — and highly-encouraged — to wear red in celebration. After the service, we will celebrate everyone who works together to create and carry out the many ministries, programs, and unseen tasks that keep MBPPC thriving. There will be sandwiches and ice cream Sundays after worship!

MBPPC Choir finale sunday, june 15

The MBPPC choir has long been one of the greatest treasures in worship. These dedicated singers provide consistently inspiring music drawn from classical and contemporary sacred traditions. With weekly rehearsals and leadership at Sunday and holiday services, they set the standard for commitment to the church’s ministry. On Sunday, June 15, they will sing their finale before taking their annual summer break. They will be back on Sunday, September 7. Come celebrate this wonderful group of singers as they finish another great year and take a much-deserved rest!

Pre-recorded sermons from March 15, 2020, through August 8, 2021, with a Scripture reading, prayer, and music, can be found at the Youtube channel “MBPPC Backyard Preacher”.
