Last Sunday We had a full house with beautiful Advent and Christmas musical offerings by the choir and instrumentalists. On Sunday, December 21st the Children’s Christmas Pageant held our rapt attention. This Wednesday we look forward to Christmas Eve with a candlelight worship service starting at 5:00 PM; and on the 1st Sunday of Christmas, the theme is Christmas Carols through the Centuries; all are welcome to listen and sing together.

Congregational Meeting on
January 4, 2026

There will be a short congregational meeting immediately after the service on January 4, 2026.  The purpose of the meeting is to elect the nominating committee. The nominating committee is responsible for choosing the nominees for the Pastoral Nominating Committee (the "search committee") and nominees for elder for the next term of session.  The session is proposing to reelect all the current members of the nominating committee: Matt Bayer, Bob Calaff, Joy Knopp, Jim Peterson, Jenny Scroggs, and Jo Usher.

During the Coronavirus pandemic, when in-person worship was suspended, Pastor Seese created an online series of Scripture readings, prayers, music, and sermons. These are now archived on Youtube.

Pre-recorded sermons from March 15, 2020, through August 8, 2021, with a Scripture reading, prayer, and music, can be found at the Youtube channel “MBPPC Backyard Preacher”.

Peace be with you.
