Romans 5:1-8

As we continue in the Apostle Paul’s Letter to the Romans we come to an inspiring reflection on hope in Romans 5:1-8.

Take time to follow the way Paul connects suffering and hope, step-by-step in Romans 5:3-4.

The reading begins with the word “Therefore”. Paul is continuing to build on the way faith (trust) sets us right with God. Trace how being set right with God (being “justified”) connects us with God and God’s glory.

Do you feel “peace with God” and that you have already been given “access to grace”?

Try this reflection: God has already made everything right between God and me (grace) so that I am free to share “the glory of God” with others.
